Where are strawberries grown?  How are bananas harvested?  How are coffee beans transported to the U.K.? How many miles does some of our food travel to get to our plate?  These are just some of the questions we have been trying to find out in today’s Geography lesson.  We have been quite shocked about how far some fruit has travelled.

We had an interesting discussions about the impact of food miles on the environment.  Great research Year 5!
