It has been lovely to welcome the children back with our new topic around flowers.  Today the children sat outside to sketch the beautiful flowers we have growing by the side of the school. We have poppies, oxeye daisies and Nigella flowers, the latter identified by Mrs Harris.  The children enjoyed the warm weather and sketching what they could see.
In English we have begun a new Information text unit. The children have been practising the text and helping me to think of actions to help us remember the text.
It has been a really lovely start to our last term.
