We have been so busy recently with all of the nativity practice and story writing that we took this afternoon to catch up with some PE!!

We started off with some basic ball skills, dribbling between the cones and passing to our partners.

We then tried to apply these skills in a game – which was very exciting!! The ‘t-shirt’ team took the lead early on with the ‘jumper’ team behind 2-0 at half time. However they quickly turned it around making the final score 2-2!!!

Everyone enjoyed the afternoon out in the fresh air and it was amazing to see children working together in their teams with smiles on their faces!! Even us grown ups couldn’t resist joining in for the last part of the game!!

Well done year 1 – great team work and a particular well done to Alex and Ashton who were both voted man of the match!

…sorry to parents who had their children come home very muddy… it’s all in a games work!!
