Today, we got our waterproofs and wellies on, and went out to embraced Mother Nature in all her force. As it was so windy, we based ourselves away from the trees and had some of the session in the outdoor classroom, which we discovered was not watertight! We kept warm and busy by writing up our Forest School Code of Conduct on the blackboard, making planes and kites to fly in the wind and then we learnt how to play stealth; a firm favourite with ALL Forest Schoolers past and present!
We then made a small fire in our new Kelly Kettle to make hot chocolate and dunked in some yummy biscuits. We all had fun and everyone certainly embraced the elements! Before we knew it, it was time to peel off our wet waterproofs and get back in doors.
