Forest school was all about hearts this week as it is valentines day next week. Challenge 1 was to create a heart shaped piece of art using any natural materials working as part of a group or individually but in only 10 minutes. Four varied sculptures were produced and the children were really creative. This led onto a heart being made from clay, using willow to make a heart wands and also heart shape bird feeders using pipe cleaners and a well known cereal brand! Some of use had a go at using secateurs safely.
Other activities included fire lighting, den building and also survival bracelets. We are looking forward to our budding thespians from Year 4 returning to us after half term when we will be making pancakes and playing ‘Capture the flag’
Thank you soooo much for the amazing work you are doing!!!
Joshua always comes back with a happy face after forest school on Wednesdays!
