Fruit kebab fun!

We have had a wonderful afternoon making some delicious fruit kebabs in Year 2. Our DT topic is currently called Remarkable Recipes and involves the children learning about food and where it comes from.

Leading on from this, the children designed and then built their own fruit kebabs today. We used apple, grapes, bananas, blueberries, bananas and strawberries to make them. We were so impressed with the knife skills and precise cutting expertise on display! Everyone successfully used an appropriate tool and made a delicious kebab.

We’re sorry that they didn’t make it home, but we thought the banana and apple might be a bit brown, so we gobbled them all up at school instead!
