We are embarking on a new Design and Technology project using our scientific knowledge of forces this week.  So far we have learnt the difference between levers, gears and pulleys and the names of each component in the mechanisms.

Working reciprocally, we have made our own pulley to lift a load between the tables.  Using our reflective and resilient skills, we have also created an animal with a moving tongue using a lever mechanism.  Well done Year 5, super star designers and creators!
