Another learning packed week in year 3.  The children have been super resilient in maths this week as they have attempted to master the steps involved in adding and subtracting across 1’s and 10’s. The children have taken it in turns to be a hundreds, tens or ones column and modelling how to exchanged.  They have used place value counters to help too and worked really well together.
We also had a visit from Dorset’s Fire Safety officer and the children had to answer a quiz on fire safety are learning all about what to do to stay safe.  Ask them about the gold star award they have come home with today!
