Sadly we are saying farewell and ‘Thank you very much‘ to Mr Price today as he heads off to enjoy his retirement. Mr Price joined the school in 1998 and has been a fantastic member of our team teaching and inspiring over 700 pupils in his time here. We will miss his whole school singing assemblies and especially his dance moves during Harvest Rock and Roll which we were able to enjoy one last time this morning. We presented Mr Price with one of his leaving gifts – drumsticks and drumming lessons. He tells us he wants to join a band and make a lot of noise! Keep rockin’ Mr Price! 🤘🥁🎸

We are also saying goodbye to Miss Maitland who is off to live and work in London. Miss Maitland will be much missed; she is an excellent teacher and has been an asset to our team. Her new school are very lucky to have her.

Miss McCourt is also leaving to start her new job at Prince of Wales School in Dorchester. Miss McCourt was invaluable over the lockdown and since then she has provided support in all our classes. We wish her the very best of luck in her new job.
