What a surprise awaited Year 5 this week when we were visited suddenly by Mr Mason who cordoned off the music room attached to our classroom due to a MURDER!
He told us the police had found a body so obviously, we went in to investigate!
Well, we found ourselves a body – a headless body and plenty of evidence. The children were so inspired by the clues, we have set up an ‘evidence’ board and are working our way towards finding out who the victim is, who killed her (she was wearing a dress!) why she was killed and when and where it happened.
The evidence so far has led us to the Tudors and ‘Henry’ in particular, we’re just not sure which Henry or which wife was in our music room?
Stay tuned as we find out more about the Tudor Dynasty, their lifestyles and habits and why anyone would want to behead their loved one….?!
It was really fun
