Hockey Skills and Drills

Ten children were chosen to participate in a day filled with hockey at Redlands with a number of other schools in the local area. The children were trained by a number of students who play at a very decent level (one student is even currently playing for the England men’s team).

The day involved plenty of exciting skills and drills in the morning and competitive matches in the afternoon. The children had an amazing time and learnt a great deal about this fantastic sport.

It was great seeing the children interact with other people from different schools and demonstrate good sportsmanship. The children also improved tremendously in their ability to pass, dribble, shoot and intercept.
