I Don’t Like Cricket…Oh no….I LOVE IT!

Over the past few weeks, we have been learning all about cricket! Some of the children have played cricket before, some children have heard of the sport but have never played it and some didn’t even know it existed…

We began by introducing the children to a cricket pitch and the equipment we would use. We have then been developing our fielding, bowling, batting and wicket keeping. The progress the children have made over the past few weeks has been phenomenal. Their perseverance and teamwork has been a joy to behold and I cannot wait for them to start playing some competitive matches at the end of this half term. Who will our cracking cricketers be. Will it be….Dragon, Pegasus, Phoenix  or Griffin!?
