Have you ever wondered what it must be like to be a lighthouse keeper like Mr Grinling? We have and today we got to visit Portland’s lighthouse at the Bill.

We split into 2 groups. Whilst the first group climbed all of the 153 steps to the top, the second group explored the interactive activities at the bottom and drew pictures of the lighthouse (oh and ate our ‘lighthouse’ biscuit snacks – yum yum!). The we swapped over activities.

Well done Year 1. A great morning out.
