In the Hot Seat!

In Year Three, we are learning how to write a cracking warning story! We’re beginning to learn a very famous warning story (I’m sure you’ve heard of it) called ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ using text mapping.

Today, we took a closer look at the characters in our story in order to unpick some of their thoughts, feelings and motives. We discussed the importance of asking open questions as it would result in a more in-depth answer from the character.

I must say, I was particularly impressed with the enthusiasm of our actors! They performed their roles convincingly and the class challenged them with some excellent open questions.
