INVASION

This week, we began to learn all about our brand new topic…INVASION. In this topic, we will be looking at the fight for England after the Romans left to defend their homeland. From Anglo-Saxon settlements to Viking raids, it certainly promises to be a thrilling topic indeed.

So far, the children have donned their historian hats as they analysed a timeline showing the various battles and settlements over England during the early Middle Ages. The children had to write as many facts as they could using the timeline for support. It was great seeing the children unpicking the historical information and sharing their findings with the rest of the class.
