It’s Coming Home…

This afternoon, pupils from across the school were invited to come and watch England’s first match in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

All of the children were buzzing with excitement as they entered the hall, hoping that the team could make a winning start to the tournament.

WHAT A GAME! We were treated to a convincing 6-2 win and the men’s team have laid down a marker for the rest of the tournament. Hopefully they can be as successful as the England Lionesses were in the Euros this summer and bring home the World Cup…

The children seemed to have a great afternoon cheering on the national team and it was great seeing so many of the children wearing their England shirts and waving their flags with pride.
