Our Talk for Writing story is Somebody Swallowed Stanley, where Stanley is a plastic bag in the ocean, swimming with the jellyfish. Yesterday we found out some interesting facts about jellyfish:
Some jellyfish can glow in the dark.
Jellyfish do not have brains, blood, bones, heart or eyes!
Jellyfish have been around for millions of years.
The smallest jellyfish is the size of a pea and the largest is bigger than a human!
They are not fish at all, they are sea animals.
After finding out about jellyfish, we used chalks and pastels to draw some. We looked carefully at shapes and colours.
