Over the past week and a half, Year Two have been busy with their new class story, ‘Kassim and the Greedy Dragon.’

Early last week we found some clues in the story chest – a dark cave, glittering jewels, a greedy dragon and a warning sign. We were intrigued!

Since finding the clues, we have been working with resilience to learn the story with the help of actions and the story map. We have also been writing our own similes and creating suspense using descriptive vocabulary. We will begin to innovate the story this week and are excited to create our own gripping warning stories.
