For today’s ICT lesson, we created some videos.  But there was a lot of planning to do before we even pressed ‘record’ button on the laptops and used the cameras.  Using storyboards, we mapped out each of the six scenes on our chosen topics such as footballers, reading, unpacking a box, Southill school and things we like, to name just a few.

We decided which filming techniques to use from close up, fixed camera, talking head, to long shot and pan left.  You name it, it was in our plans and all using the correct lingo too! We also needed to write a script.

Then it was time to film and stitch our clips together into a short video.   Next lesson, we will complete this and also evaluate our work.  Great media lesson Year 5!
