Mastering Tricky Times Tables
Over the past few weeks, we have rolled up our sleeves, gritted our teeth, furrowed our brows and attempted to smash some of those trickier times tables. You know the ones… the 6’s, 7’s, 8’s and 9’s!
Today, the children played a game which involved flipping over a times table question. The first player to answer it got to put a counter on the answer. The winner was the person who managed to get three counters on the board in a row.
The children are certainly beginning to use all the tricks of the trade in order to memorise and recite their times tables confidently.
Keep going and keep practising, Year 4!
