This afternoon year 2 enjoyed an afternoon of mindfulness absorbed in our lovely grounds creating works of art that represent our school as we celebrate 50 wonderful years. First we worked with our buddy to collect 50 items from nature. Then we used our natural materials to create pictures in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. Maths meets art as we counted and created symmetrical butterflies and images of the number 50 with 50 items. What a great afternoon!
