Year 1 and Year 2 have enjoyed going to Miss Knight’s room during lunchtime on Mondays to do some calm colouring. Relaxing music has been played in the background to create a calm atmosphere – perfect for children who would like some quiet time away from the busy playgrounds. It also gives them a chance to talk to Miss Knight about anything. The children have enjoyed a variety of colouring sheets as well drawing their own pictures. Some children have written notes and pictures for their friends and family.

We have a lovely time together and it’s a great way to start the week. There is a poster in both classrooms for the children to check when they can come to colouring club. It is open to years 1 and 2 on alternate weeks.
