Following on with our learning from The Magic Paintbrush, we looked at the part of the story where Shen painted a dragon beast to scare the Emperor away. We thought about features we might see on a scary beast, then created our own beast pictures. Do you think some of these would scare the Emperor away? We used skills such as painting, sticking, cutting, snipping and measuring.
