We have had a brilliant day today learning all about mosaics. We found out what mosaics are and looked at some pictures of really, really old mosaics and some modern ones too. When looking at Roman mosaics we paid particular attention to the geometric designs they used to decorate the borders. We did some sketchbook work and designed our own mosaic tile. We used natural resources to create the geometric patterns on our tiles. They look great!
