What a treat to meet our new Year 5 class this afternoon!  Mrs Hill, Mrs Butler and Mrs Aitken welcomed Year 4 (and a half!) to the classroom they will be learning in in September and had a lovely session talking about what to expect next year, where everything is and finding out some very interesting facts about each other…!  Did you know there is a member of this class who used to live on the Isle of Scilly?  And someone else who who loves sharks?!

We also decorated some lovely bunting to decorate the classroom ready for September with more facts about ourselves so we can get to know each other better.  It definitely seems that pizza is a favourite food for this class!

After a little chat about our new topic coming up, we feel super ready to meet the new school year after our summer holidays.  Have a read of the letter and the knowledge organiser we have sent home detailing all we talked about this afternoon.  We have also sent home some home learning project ideas to really get you ready for our Dynamic Dynasties next term.  Please do bring in anything you complete as we love to share home learning projects!
