This week we have been diving into our topic ‘Splendid Skies’.

We started the week outside with our Nature Treasure Hunt, looking for different natural objects and items that we might find outside at this time of year. We have used these as our writing inspiration, linking our findings in with seasonal changes and different types of weather. We have been focusing on the changes we can see and feel as we move into autumn.

We also used some of our objects, such as conkers, acorns and berries as inspiration for our art work this week. We have been learning how to do our own ‘still life’ drawings and adding colour with watercolor paints.
