The children in Class Two have been extremely busy over the past few weeks designing, making, testing and evaluating night time safety jackets for our little friend Boothy the dog.
They firstly spent time carefully considering what their jacket needed to be like, they then drew a plan and thought about the materials and equipment they would use to make them. After this, they worked resourcefully to use the pattern and scissors to shape the fabric before adding the reflective strips, with a little help from Mrs Lockwood and Mr Bell. Finally, they tested their jackets on Boothy and I think you’ll agree, they look great!
