In today’s PE lesson, we headed up to the top field and worked in groups to set up obstacle courses. To begin with, we found this really tricky. When we talked about why we were finding it hard, we were able to find ways to make things easier. We soon learnt that we needed great reciprocity and teamwork in order to succeed. I was really impressed with the way the children made compromises and listened to their team’s ideas.

By the end of the session, each team successfully demonstrated their course to the rest of the class. There was some brilliant cheering and support from everyone this afternoon. Well done Year 1!

We finished the afternoon with some very competitive races!
