Come and have a look at some of the displays in our classroom – enjoy looking at these photographs.
Nature Table
This is where we collect out natural treasures. Can you see cones, twigs, flowers and a nest? There are also some observational drawings too – we used pens and watercolour paints. We record our nature based learning in our floor book.
Creativity
Here we have collected a variety of art based learning. Every child is an artist and we celebrate the process of our creations. Here you can see printing. chalk, paint and sticking.
Seasons
We enjoy being nature detectives and here we follow the seasons. So far we have collected treasures from autumn and winter, as well as taking photos of us exploring. We are going to look out for signs of spring next.
Books and Birds
This is a cosy, quiet area in our classroom. We sit here to read our favourite books but we also watch the birds. We have put bird feeders outside and we love watching our bird visitors each day.
Brilliant Books
This is a washing line of some of our favourite books we read. These are chosen to share during our class story sessions and we also read them with our friends when we sit in our book nooks.
Large Art
We often work together on large-scale art projects. We enjoyed reading the story of Zog and then we each painted our own dragon to create a fantastic dragon school.
Talk for Writing
Here is our giant wall display of a story map to help us re-tell ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear’. We follow the map as we tell the story with our friends.
We hope you enjoyed having a look inside our classroom. Look out for signs of spring next week.
Such a lovely classroom. I love the reading corner and all the beautiful art on the walls 🙂
