We have started our new project ‘Our Wonderful World’. This is a geography project which introduces the children to using globes, atlases and maps. We have learned about where the equator is and how some countries are hot and some are cold. The children have used the atlases to identify countries and continents. We also discussed which countries make up the United Kingdom and located them using the atlases.
