It is starting to feel very festive in the Reception class this week. There are some exciting activities to explore, helping us to find out more about how we can celebrate Christmas.

Here is some of our provision set up for the week: writing challenges, snowflake threading, small world play, stencils, playdough, decorating trees and developing fine motor skills. We also added ribbons to our block play.

We have had a cosy Christmas Book Nook this week too – we love snuggling up to share festive stories.
