Producing Great Glossaries

In science this half term, the children will be learning about:

-Producers and consumers

-food chains and webs

-teeth

-the digestive system

We kick-started this half term by looking at some key vocabulary linked to these areas on enquiry. The children needed to use their investigative skills, using a combination of handouts, books and online sources in order to help them find the meanings of some key words. Feel free to ask them! Children now know what words such as carnivore, prey, producer, photosynthesis and insectivore mean.
