During our Talk for Writing lessons, we have been extremely busy learning our model text, Cinderella. Using the the text map which Mrs Symonds very kindly drew for us, we have been developing our ability to:

-Tell a story with expression

-Structure a piece of story writing

-Use more adventurous vocabulary and descriptive language.

It would be really beneficial for your child to try and practice performing the text map at home. Learning a story structure can really help develop both reading and writing skills.

Stay tuned as next week, we aim to film the class performing the text map! If the rehearsals are anything to go by, you are in for a treat!
