Run Run Rudolph!

Wow. I could not believe the amount of children who participated in the Rudolph Run today!

The money has been flying in from all directions and we have managed to raise a staggering…

£1500 (and more money is still coming in).

That is phenomenal. To say that it brought a tear to my eye is an understatement. To raise that kind of money so close to one of the most expensive events of the year really does say an awful lot about the Southill community.

I would like to thank all of the members of staff who helped the event run so smoothly. From giving out antlers and noses to running with the children, taking photographs and creating certificates to serving up bacon butties, I could not ask for a more supportive team.

Thank you to all of the parents who helped the children raise such an enormous amount of money for Weldmar Hospice Care. I’m sure the money will go a long way!

Thank you to Weldmar for being so supportive and providing us with the red noses and antlers.

Of course, thank you to every child who ran, walked and skipped their way to the finish line.

Finally, a huge thank you to Mrs Aitken’s Mum for very kindly providing small gifts for our super fundraisers and chief runners. They loved their Reindeer heads and candy canes!
