Do these sound like places you would like to explore?  We have been writing about characters who not only wanted to visit these places, they were warned against it and still went anyway!

In Year 5 we have been working hard on our writing of settings in a warning tale.  Read on and enjoy scenes of mystery, terror and fear!  Can you spot any personification, similes or amazing adjectives?  What about some show don’t tell character reactions?
