Today we joined the illustrator Nick Sharratt to hear his very first reading of his new book ‘Shark in the Snow’.  We all loved looking through our telescopes; up, down and all around until we spotted… well it wasn’t a shark – but I’ll let the children tell you more.  We also joined in with his fabulous drawing tutorials.

In other news this week, we have started looking at division – using both grouping and sharing to solve word problems and we have started recording using the division sign.

We recorded our poem – so proud of the children for learning their lines so well and delivering them with expression and enthusiasm!  We’re really looking forward to the finished video coming soon!
