Six are Smashing Remote Learning!

Another week and yet another week of me bursting with pride. I have been inundated with impressive pieces of learning this week. You have: produced outstanding letters from the viewpoint of Robert Falcon Scott, answered questions based on the book The Haunting of Aveline Jones, sketched your favourite book characters supported with quotes from the book, written your introduction to a portal story and even had time to compete in a TT Rockstars competition. My word – I need to lay down!

Speaking of TT Rockstars, once again, we have smashed it! I am particularly impressed with Charlie, Amie and Yves who have led the way for a number of day. Because of our combined efforts, we have successfully defeated Wyke Regis. Bless my soul, Southill are on a role! However, make sure you get a good rest this weekend as we have our toughest challenge yet awaiting us on Monday. We have entered a local competition against a number of primary schools in the Weymouth and Portland area.

During the afternoons at school, the children have played a bit of Bingo, learnt all about Zentangles and have primarily used the afternoons in order to complete all of the topic work set. We also had a Tunnel Rush competition today which Mr. Bell seemed to enjoy more than anyone…
