As part of celebrations for our 50th anniversary this year, we are pleased to welcome Southill Yarn Bomb – a people powered, community driven event that will take place over May half term. Yarn bombing is quite a craze, admittedly a very clever one too, the best part being that it’s open to everyone of all ages and lends the opportunity to learn a new skill or perhaps to brush up on an old one (not forgetting the chance to show off if you are already an keen knitter)!
There are many ways to get involved; by knitting/crocheting/crafting at home or by joining our SPYB gang at a community session. We hope to fill Southill with lots of colourful creations.
For more info including patterns, ideas and inspiration – please visit their social KNITwork pages. See you there!
