Tie up your laces, don on your bibs!! It’s time for Southill Primary School’s social distancing sports day!!

Knowing that it is incredibly unlikely that we will be able partake in our usual sports day events at Southill we decided to replicate (as much as possible) a school sports day with the children who were in school.

As you can tell from the pictures below, some of the games have taken a ‘social distancing’ twist to minimize sharing equipment and ensure we stayed a safe distance apart from one another.

It was lovely to hear the children cheering each other on and shouting words of encouragement to their team mates. Of course there was plenty of laughter… mainly at the expensive of the teachers involved!!

What not try to invent your own social distancing sports at home?!
