Day 1 is very nearly complete and what a day we have had! Our den building workshop at the Eden Project was brilliant! Children split up into four teams – The Dingleberry Smurfs, The Sigmas, The Gossip Girls and The Bananas. Their mission was to plan and build a den that the whole team could stand up in. It was required to have two rooms and needed to be waterproof and windproof. There were bonus points for beauty and teamwork and communication. Some teams got off to a cracking start but things soon got tricky. Others had a slow start but were more successful in the end. All in all, everyone worked well together and showed true Southill resilience and reciprocity.

We had a walk around the biomes and a look in the gift shop and then set off down to our accommodation in St Ives.  It was a beautiful evening here and after our chippy tea we went for a walk to explore the harbour, beach and town. Everyone is very happy with their rooms and as I write they are all getting washed and ready for bed.
