Welcome! If your child is due to start with us in September we are looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your family. In usual circumstances your child would have had the opportunity to come in and play and find out what it will be like at Southill and you would have met the staff and had the opportunity to ask questions. This year has been a bit different but we hope you have had the chance to check out the Starting School pages just for you and that we have answered all your questions.

At Southill we are proud of our reading culture, it really is at the heart of our curriculum, so if you want to give your child a head start in getting ready for school and enjoying stories you might like to have a look at some of these great titles. 

The BBC has launched its Tiny Happy People site designed to help you develop your child’s communication skills. There are lots of lovely things to look at and do there.
