Rain did not stop play for Year 5 this week, when every child participated in an inter-house Sports Day competition!

After a scrutinising inspection, the pitch was declared fit for purpose so the children were able to take part in such races as: sack race, tyre pull, egg and spoon, hurdles and long jump to name but a few.

Everyone demonstrated a superb sporting spirit with encouragement, dedication and a smile on their faces.

Our overall champions were Phoenix House, congratulations! However, everyone is a winner when you have so much fun!
