The Sustrans Big Pedal 2021 event kickstarts this week, running until 30th April (lasting 2 weeks) and we are pleased to say that we’ll all be taking part again here at Southill Primary!  This year’s focus is on active journeys .. walking, cycling or scooting to school every day.  Well that sounds right up our street, doesn’t it?   The more of us that take part, the more chance we’ll have of winning a prize as we’ll be competing against other primary and secondary schools for the chance to win fabulous prizes such as sporting equipment and accessories for our school.   We have a good track record when it comes to taking part in local active events, so let’s see if we can keep our winning streak going!

It’ll be lots of fun taking part, why not encourage the whole family to join in too?  It’s a brilliant reason to keep active.  Just like previous years we’ll be counting how many of us completed an active journey each day and will use these stats to be entered into a daily prize draw, so make sure that you tell your teacher just how many of you joined in.
