Tag Rugby…THE DECIDER!
This half term, Year 4 have been learning all about tag rugby. We soon however realised just how complicated the game is! Nevertheless, after 6 weeks of developing skills and our understanding of the game, the children participated in a tag rugby competition in their four house teams.
The emphasis was necessarily about scoring the most tries. Instead, teams were encouraged to try and play the game correctly, be reciprocal and try to get a better idea of how the game is player. The children did brilliantly! We had so much fun. After witnessing all four teams play, Pegasus were crowned our ‘Tag Rugby Champions’ for their resilience, teamwork and enthusiasm.
Well done, Year 4. I wonder what sport we will be doing after half term…
