As part of our DT project, we have been learning about London Taxis. The children have worked together to make a taxi by following simple instructions and then designed and built their own. What a brilliant time we had! Everyone was able to successfully build a taxi using the design criteria of needing four wheels, two axles, a chassis and then we added a taxi light on the roof.

When our taxis were finished, we took them into the hall to test them out. Mrs Puddick came to visit us with some of the Reception children. Everyone was very impressed with how well the taxis worked and how fast they were! Mrs Jones and I were pleased to see lots of children making improvements to their taxis if any parts broke. We talked about how we would improve our taxis if we were to make them again.
