The Angles Family

This morning, Year 4 began to learn all about Shape. We began by exploring angles and the children were introduced to ‘The Angles Family’ do do do do…click click!

We then started to study various angles in order to determine whether they were acute, a right angle or obtuse. Some children even began looking at angles on a straight line and reflex angles! The children absolutely SMASHED the journal tasked where they identified different angles and explained their answers. They then had a go at a variety of maths questions relating to angles which they were able to do very confidently.
