We had a bit of a treat today! We were lucky enough to attend a piano concert in our very own school hall. Yesterday, Emily J saw a poster advertising the concert, so we thought we’d better go and check it out.

However, when we arrived in the hall, we found that it was no ordinary pianist… it was a bear playing the piano!

The bear played beautifully for about ten minutes and treated us to a variety of tunes. He was so engrossed in the music, we’re not sure he even knew we were there. At the end of the concert, the bear simply got up and left! It was all a bit of a mystery.

Erin remembered that we’d read a book called the Bear and the Piano before. We re-read the book and then wrote about what had happened in the hall.

I wonder if we will see the bear again? We decided that perhaps he was on his was back to the woods (like the one in the book). I guess we’ll just wait and see.
