Over the past few weeks Year 3 have been working really hard to learn the suspense tale ‘The Cobbler and the Dragon’. The text map that I shared with you last week has really helped the children to not only learn the story off-by-heart but also learn actions to go with it. This has really helped bring the tale to life for the children as well as develop their understanding of new vocabulary, the structure and underlying pattern of a suspense tale and of course their performance skills! I am now really looking forward to reading the children’s very own suspense tales that they will be writing next week. Keep up the hard work Year 3, I am really proud of you!
