Year 3 and 4 put on a really lovely Christingle today at Emmanuel Church. The service focussed on community, togetherness, kindness, warmth and giving. There were wholesome reflections beautifully read by pupils from each class, as well as some great singing – ‘Light a Candle for Peace’, ‘This Little Light of Mine’, and ‘Last Christmas’. Year 3 recited a really nice poem outlining the Christian story of Christmas. Thank you Reverend Jo Haine for your lovely words, and the whole team at the church for welcoming us and being so kind and helpful. As ever, FOSS were there to help out, serving refreshments… what would we do without you, FOSS? Thank you! Well done to all the children for such a lovely service, and thank you parents for attending and being so supportive.
Thank you so much for all of your hard work in organising it all , big thank you to Dan!!! Our music man!! Thank you
