‘Time in the Sunshine’

This morning, Year 4 headed outside for their maths lesson as they took part in an orienteering course. The children were required to find locations quickly on a map. Once they had found it, a mathematical question awaited them! Most of the questions were linked to our work on time, however we also looked at centimetres to metres, millilitres to litres, grams to kilograms etc.

I must say, the children have made great progress in their understanding of measurement, especially time.
